Simon Rigby is a promising young midfielder currently plying his trade with Carlisle United’s U18 squad. Operating in the heart of the park, he combines energy and creativity as part of the Blue's academy setup. Simon has been within the Carlisle United academy since under 10's.

He has been involved in notable youth-fixtures, including contributing to his team’s progression in the FA Youth Cup.As one of the club’s scholars-in-development, Rigby is part of the pathway looking to bridge into the senior ranks, with the club’s academy noting his inclusion among 2024-25 scholars.
